Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner one evening, again good value.
The room I had was clean with an immaculate en suite shower, plenty of hot water, thermostatic radiator and all the decor was clean and tidy.

The Hotel
While rooted in the pomp and grandeur of Victorian seaside resorts, this elegant hotel offsets its traditional stylings with a host of modern comforts. Transport
Trains: Low-cost trips available from London Paddington, Cardiff Central, Glasgow Central, Manchester Piccadilly, and Birmingham New Street. Barnstaple Rail Station is roughly 15 miles from the hotel.
Road: The hotel is accessible by following the M4 or M5 to Tiverton Parkway before changing onto the A361 to Barnstaple and following signs to Ilfracombe from there.
