The staff were the most polite, helpful and friendly people we have ever met. The hotel was immaculate, room was lovely and the food excellent.
This is the most friendly, clean and comfortable place I have ever stayed. My 9 year old daughter and husband found the Games room fantastic. The staff here cannot do enough to help and are always smiling. The off road parking was great and just 10 mins walk to the town centre and sea front. I would most definately [sic] recommend to friends

The Hotel
Offsetting its central location with homely decor and modern conveniences, the Scarborough Travel & Holiday Lodge has earned itself a Discover Yorkshire Coast Tourism Award for its sterling level of customer service. The hotel welcomes individuals, families, and even pets to enjoy its on-site patio and diverting games room, while freshly prepped bistro cuisine can be savoured in the restaurant and bar. Standing less than a mile from Scarborough Railway Station, the hotel is splendidly placed for those wishing to explore the town’s boutiques and beaches, as well as visitors wishing to travel further afield.
The Stay
Settling into a double room, guesting pairs can relax in front of the television or even freshen up in the en-suite shower. Dinner in the bistro on one night will hush grumbling stomachs with two courses of home-cooked fare using locally-sourced ingredients, where possible. Starters include warm black pudding and crisy bacon salad or mozzarella and tomato salad while mains include a spicy vegetable cassoulet or port steak grill with peas and chipped potatoes. Travellers will also be treated to a fresh continental breakfast each morning.
Groupon Recommends
History-lovers can lay siege to Scarborough Castle’s medieval fortress, examining ruined battlements which overlook sweeping views of the town’s scenic bay. A brief train ride to nearby Whitby will reward wayfarers with a whalebone arch, traditional swing bridge, and a local museum crammed full of seafaring relics, folkloric oddities, and a stunning collection of fossils. The best way to take in the enormity of the Yorkshire Moors is by steam engine, and antiquated travellers can hop aboard a set of Class A4 locomotives at the sleepy village of Grosmont.
Groupon Top Tip
Those with a Gothic sensibility should make a beeline for Whitby, the shores upon which Count Dracula washed up on in Bram Stoker’s celebrated novel.
